Bat Mitzvah – Sunbeam Studios

About This Project

A Bat Mitzvah where the hosts wanted to do away with the traditional long sit down dinner which so many 12-13 year olds find so boring. Instead, we installed several quirky food stations serving small bitesize pieces from across the globe as the starter, then into a different room for a sit down main course and short speeches, then back into the first room that had been transformed into a dancefloor with dessert stalls around the sides. On this occasion our client wanted an emphasis on ‘graffiti’ so we filled the space with bright and glowing furniture and bold props to intensify the interior. We also worked alongside the Bat Mitzvah girl to create a 4 meter wide graffiti piece which was displayed on the night and kept after the event. There was plenty for everyone to do: Graffiti artists creating bespoke T-shirts for the kids, arcade games, a photo and video booth, roaming magician and of course our fantastic DJ who kept the dancefloor full right through until the end.
