Christophe’s 50th Birthday Party

The challenge? Create an 80’s extravaganza that guests would never forget.

Over a two day period our production team raised and decorated a stunning 80’s themed marquee in the beautiful grounds of Sherbourne Park. Complete with giant glitter balls, a rubix cube bar, personalised vinyl placemats and a giant Deadmau5 head.

As evening fell and guests began to arrive projection mapping lit the stunning exterior of Sherbourne Park House and multi coloured flame torches lit the pathways to the marquee. Guests were served a beautiful 2 course dinner before having the opportunity to choose from our tasty pudding stations which included an ice cream stall, a waffle station and a chocolate fountain.

As the meal came to an end people began to question – where were the special guests mentioned on the invitation?

It was then that the legendary Madness made their entrance taking to the stage with a mass of exuberance. Madness had all of the guests dancing to their classics including ‘Baggy Trousers’ and ‘Our House’, they and even closed the performance by singing happy birthday to our client. Rollin D’s then took the floor with a breathtaking breakdancing performance!

A DJ then played into the early hours of the morning while guests danced the night away and took snaps in our 80’s themed photo booth so they could treasure the memories from this superb evening forever.
