2015 was the year Falcon Trade decided to have their inaugural staff offsite. Staff flew in from various international locations to join at The Grove – a stones’ throw from London and set on beautiful grounds. Set over 2 days, the itinerary consisted of a conference in the morning and a fun team bonding activity in the afternoon. The main goal of the offsite was to make all staff understand what their colleagues in different departments did and how they can help each other. Highlights of the 2 day conference were a motivational speaker, video interviews and a Falcon edition of “Who Wants to be a Millionaire?”. We were tasked to ensure groups were mixed, to amplifying the company culture, and achieve a ‘sense of team work’. On the first day, as a surprise, 15 branded mini coopers drove onto the grounds for the group to participate in an ‘Italian Job’ activity. We filmed the day and presented the video at the conference the following morning. After the final part of the conference, the group enjoyed a mixture of activities including Segway’s, archery laser clay and go karting. Based on the success, the company is aiming to make this an annual event.
